Issues with PDF ifilters in MOSS

We have been having issues with clients, where we have installed and configured the PDF Ifilters, but only we as admins can view the actual icons. Clients were unable to see the icons. When they clicked on the relevant document library, they were prompted with an authentication request. Even after entering in their credentials, they were unable to see the icons.

Found a solution (Thanks to Jag SRK)…

All you need to do is check the permissions on the icon image. Go to the folder  (where you put your image), right click and change the permissions option to inherit parent folder permissions. Now right click on the actual image, and do the same. Reset IIS and this should be fixed 🙂
